Like any project at DJS Asphalt, it begins with a detailed site evaluation and estimate. This allows our team to accurately estimate the project cost and timeline. Once we've worked with you - the customer - to agree on a budget and timeline, we can begin.


Due to the initial site evaluation, we are prepared when we begin and know in advance if we have to remove any existing pavement, vegetation or debris. There are times when grading the area for water drainage is necessarily before continuing the project as well. We then can install a base layer to provide a solid foundation for the asphalt layer. Once we lay the asphalt surface layer, we can work to compact the asphalt for durability and longevity. We use rollers to compress the surface and eliminate air voids, which gives your driveway or asphalt pavement an even, complete finish. Once we have reached the desired texture and smoothness and the project is complete, we offer maintenance information and detailed quality checks.


Additionally, we also offer asphalt sealcoating and down the line, we offer asphalt repair should your asphalt need it.
